Tip of the Day

"Use the water of boiled vegetables for gravy, doing so you get more flavour and you don't lose the nutrients which otherwise drain off with water.."

*Beginning of a new chapter..............

"There is no love sincerer than the love of food".
-George Bernard Shaw

I totally agree to the above quote.Food plays a very important part in one's life.I always had the passion for cooking and trying out new recipes.Being a foods and nutrition student I am always keen on how to make a recipe more nutritious at the same time tasty.........cos it is a general belief that what is nutritious is not good in taste!!This blog is a sincere attempt to change this belief,I will try my best to provide you all out there with recipes which are not only tasty but at the same time nutritious as its aptly said that 'Health is Wealth'.

What interested me to start this blog??????
My greatest inspiration is my friend Shubha who has her blog .I used to visit her blog and see new recipes everytime,it was so good to see those.I always used to think if I also had such a blog so that I can share my recipes with you all. There is one more person behind this, its my hubby who has always encouraged me to try out different recipes and praised me.

I would like to thank my mom for culminating in me the interest for cooking and making me aware of different food practices.I would like to dedicate this blog to both my moms-my mother and my mother-in-law,who constantly guides me on food making and aquaints me with new recipes.I just wish to keep on getting such precious guidance so that i can share it with you all.

I am looking forward to share my experiences and experiments with you and get your feedback which will surely help me to grow.
